Antonella Buono was born in Livorno in 1977.
She did her studies at The International Academy of Haute Couture Koefia in Rome.
From 2001, even before the graduation, her first engagement took her to Mexico City for a fashion show, afterwards she got interested in costumes and she has been working first as assistant costume designer, then as costume designer for movies, documentaries, short movies and commercials. Currently, beyond her work in costume designing, she’s teaching Fashion Design for The American University of Rome.
